Blanco Creek Farms has built a premier supply chain program of grower partners to support our manufacturing programs. Our green bean program has been developed through numerous partners, to ensure that we have a reliable supply to support year-round availability of these fresh products.
J&B Farms
David Jones, a BCF partner and Texas grower, started J&B Farms in 2001 as a fresh market snap green beans and cabbage business. Their headquarters are located in Hondo, Texas. This 10,000 plus acre farm is home to a year-round vegetable growing division and beef cattle operation. It also has a commodity crop operation producing corn, wheat, milo and cotton. David Jones, owner and manager, represents the third generation of his family involved in South Texas agriculture. “We are always working to preserve the freshness of our vegetables and get it to our customers quickly and in excellent condition.”
Jack’s Produce
Jack’s Produce began in 2004 as a farm in Pearsall, Texas and originally grew only green beans and cabbage. In 2009, sweet corn was added, and we are currently the only grower in Texas of fresh sweet corn! Over the years, we have increased our lineup to include broccoli, lettuce, squashes, okra, and pickling cucumbers.
Fresh Plants
Frank Segui, a BCF partner and produce broker, manages the US North East and East coast green bean supply. His relationships with Fresh Plants, Americus, Georgia and other East coast growers creates a reliable supply chain program.
CS Produce and Logistics
Richard Cruz, C.P.M. and a BCF partner, manages CS Produce and Logistics which supports Blanco Creeks Farms supply chain and logistics needs. From produce and packaging supply to product delivery, BCF freight needs are covered for year-round programs.
